RedStasher ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at redstasher.com and the web application at app.redstasher.com (the "Service"), as well as the RedStasher Chrome extension. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
RedStasher is intended for adults aged 18 or over. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Account information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name from Google's OAuth service. We use this solely to identify your account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Content you save
When you add a video to your library, we store the information you submit:

Chrome extension
The RedStasher Chrome extension accesses the URL of the current browser tab when you open the extension popup. This URL is used to pre-fill the video URL field and to fetch metadata (title, thumbnail) for that page. The extension stores your authentication token in Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) so you remain logged in between sessions. No browsing history is collected or transmitted.
Usage and analytics
The public landing pages (redstasher.com) use Google Analytics to collect anonymised page-view data such as pages visited, general geographic region, and browser type. This helps us understand how people discover the site. The authenticated application (app.redstasher.com) does not include analytics tracking.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:
The Service uses a session cookie (rs_auth) to indicate that you are logged in. This cookie contains no personal data — it is a simple flag used to decide whether to redirect you to the app on the landing page.
The Chrome extension stores your authentication token in chrome.storage.local on your device. This data is not synced across devices or accessible to other extensions.
The landing page (redstasher.com) sets Google Analytics cookies for anonymised traffic measurement.
All connections to RedStasher are encrypted via HTTPS. Your library is only accessible to authenticated users — no one else can view, search, or access your saved videos. We apply standard security practices to protect data stored on our servers.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account data and saved content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a video or collection from your library, it is removed from our servers. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, and request deletion of your account and data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@redstasher.com.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
RedStasher is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
